Angela J. Davis

Angela J. Davis, 80, passed away while visiting family in Elk River, MN. She was born January 4, 1946 to the late John and Anna Hartlage of Louisville, KY. Prior to retiring, she worked as the manager of the Shell Station on Outer Loop.

“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” - Isiah 40:31

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 49 years: Donald R. Davis, SR; her son: Lewis Davis; her grandson: Jonathan Swain; her sister: Joan Glidewell; and her brother: Thomas Hartlage.

Left to cherish Angela’s memory are her children: Anna M. Swain (Bill) of Lacey, WA, Donald Davis, JR of Hillview, KY, John W. Davis (Shawnita) of Louisville, KY and Steven Davis of Lacey, WA; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; her siblings: Jean Haynes of Louisville, KY, John W. Hartlage (Ellen) of Madison, IN, Jane Smith of Walla Walla, WA, and Diane Euribe (Bill) of Walla Walla, WA.

Visitation will be held 1-8 PM Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at Arch L Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218. A service to honor Angela will be held 12 PM Thursday, July 2 at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest privately at Resthaven Memorial Park.
