Phillips, Anita M., 79, entered into eternal rest on August 24, 2017. Anita was a loving and caring woman who loved to be surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and scrapbooking. Anita was also a passionate UK fan. Go Big Blue!
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elijah Phillips; her parents, Raymond and Erma Cravens; and her brother, Raymond A. Cravens.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Linda Soeder (Chris), Steve Phillips (Becky), Kim Phillips, Karen Phillips, Kathy Phillips, and Sherrie Hayden; grandchildren, Christie Teepe (Jeff), Lorie Cravens (Ronnie), Josh Soeder (Wendy), Carla Kolodey (Ken), Brian Phillips (Sarah), and Alan Hayden (Stephanie); 11 great grandchildren; and sister, Betty Bieber (Ray).
A Funeral Service will be on Monday, August 28th at 12:00pm at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1:00pm-8:00pm and on Monday from 10:00am-12:00pm. There will be a committal service in Evergreen Cemetery following the funeral.
