Ann was a Pre-Olympic Swimmer and she was a Kentucky Colonel. She received her BS in Physical Therapy from St. Louis University. Ann worked as a PT at St. Joseph’s Hospital, and then retired as Director of Physical Therapy from Sts. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Clinton Brown “Jimmy” Walker, Jr.; and her sister-in-law, Margaret Knable Walker.
She is survived by her daughters, Roxane Maliszewski and Lisa M. Weaver (Raymond), and her son, James Richard Maliszewski; nephews, Christian Walker (Dawn), Joseph Walker and William Walker (Elisabeth); niece, Sharon Walker Ream (Gary); grandson, Alex Lamar Weaver; granddaughter, Claire Ann Weaver and three great-grandnieces, Rachel, Eleanor and Annalise Walker; one great-grandnephew, Max Ream; and her fur baby, Dixie.
In honor of Ann’s wishes, cremation has been chosen and there will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the ASPCA, KY Humane society or Metro Animal Shelter.
