Ann was born in Loretto, Kentucky on October 8, 1930 to the late Joseph David Hutchins and Mary Veronice (Simms) Hutchins. Ann worked many years in the service industry, having been the bar manager at Woodhaven Country Club for over twenty years and spending ten years at Churchill Downs, not retiring until she was in her eighties.
She is preceded in death by her husband, whom she married in 1950, Ted Metzger Sr.; brothers; Joe , Sid and Carl Hutchins; and great-grandson Blake Thompson.
Left to cherish her memory are her children; Ted Metzger (Regina York), Phil Metzger (Jenni), Jack Metzger (Kim), Donnie Metzger (Sharon), Kenny Metzger (Vickie), and Tim Metzger; siblings, Jim Hutchins (Betty) and Alice Adamson; 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday 11:00 am at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Friday at the funeral home from 2-8 pm.
