Anne Margaret Doyle, 92, of Shepherdsville, passed away Monday, September 22, 2014. She was born November 12, 1921 in Philadelphia PA to the late Christian and Rose Sullenberger Hagman. She was known as the “Queen of Shepherdsville”, a proud PTA and Band mom, active member in committees at school and loved her family dearly. Anne’s favorite thing to do was dancing with her lifelong partner to the tunes of Tommy Dorsey and Frank Sinatra. They are now dancing together in Heaven.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Clinton Doyle, happily married for almost 7 decades. They lived an abundantly fruitful life.
Anne is survived by her daughters; Paula Doyle and Marcia Wiggins, four grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.
A Celebration of Anne’s Life will be held Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 2:00pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel with interment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday at Arch L Heady at Resthaven.
