Ansle "Chompy" Combs III

Ansle “Chompy” Combs III, 37, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2017. Chompy was a Louisville native born to the late Ansle Jr. and Rebecca (Woodward) Combs. Chompy absolutely adored his children. They were his joy and happiness. They gave him a reason to smile. Chompy loved to spend time with his children, watch movies, listen to music and rap along with his favorite rapper Tech Nine. Not to mention that Chompy loved to cook and grill out with his family and friends. When he wasn't doing any of that he was spending time going on new adventures with his fiancé Iris. Chompy was the life of any party with his crazy dances, silly jokes, and great impersonations. And that is how he will be remembered.

Left to cherish his memory are his children; daughter, Cierra Clyburn-Combs; sons, Ansle “CJ” Combs IV and Brandon Combs; his fiancé, Iris Stumbo, and the mother of his children, Brenda Combs. He is also survived by his brothers, Anthony Woodward, Will Woodward, and Anson Combs.

A celebration of life is scheduled for Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 2:00pm at Arch L Heady at Resthaven with entombment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 11:00am until the time of the service.
