She was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister and a great teacher.
April is preceded in death by her grandfather, Donald B. Claxon and her cousin, David Aldridge.
She is survived by her parents, Donald and Annette Claxon, a brother Donald E. Claxon, and grandparents, David and Carol Pilcher, Lena Claxon and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of April’s life will be conducted at 10am Saturday, October 26, 2013 in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 4-8pm Friday, October 25, 2013 and after 9am the day of the service.
