Ardella Kasey Purcell, 93, of Louisville passed away October 15, 2014 at University Hospital. She was born on June 14, 1921 in Louisville to the late Thomas E. Kasey Sr. and Dessie Harrington Kasey. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and the Moose Lodge #5. She was a graduate of Louisville Girls High School and the University of Louisville. She was a retired chemist from Tube Turns.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, James M. Purcell Jr., a brother, and two sisters.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Deborah Kasey Hatchett (Frank), James Douglas Muscutt Jr. (Cheryl), Alfred Thomas Muscutt, Patricia Diane Muscutt, Mark Jeffrey Kasey (Debbie) and Ardella Kasey Sirles; as well as many great and great great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be conducted Monday, October 20, 2014 at Noon at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with private burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2-6 on Sunday at the funeral home.
