Arthur Lawrence “Larry” Hedgspeth, 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on August 19, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Duie Garland Hedgspeth and Katherine Irene Hedgspeth. Larry is survived by his wife, Suzanne, and his daughters, Kelly Hedgspeth Howard (Matt), and Katy Paturzo; and his brother, Glen (Becky) Hedgspeth.
Larry was a loving husband, exemplary father, devoted brother, loyal friend, and devout Christian. He was a graduate of Westport High School and proud alum of Western Kentucky University. He loved giving back to his church community at Southeast Christian Church, where some of his favorite involvements included singing in the Masters Men and leading the recreational bike club, Spoke-n-Word.
His memorial service will take place at noon on Friday, August 22 at the Chapel in the Woods,1407 Moser Rd, Louisville, KY 40299. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus of Louisville or BsideU for Life.
