Audean Merrell, age 90, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022. She was a member of Harvey Browne Memorial Presbyterian Church. She was retired from Philip Morris, a spouse of a USAF Veteran and Shriner, and long-time Southern Star member.
She is preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Delia Jones Ables, her husband, Fountain Clay Merrell, her son, Randall Merrell, her brothers, Max, Charles, Cletus, Clyde, F.R. Ables, and her sisters, Pat Brumit and Carolyn Deer.
She is survived by her sisters, Betty Brumfield and Barbara Jones, her son, Steve (Denise), and her grandchildren Jennifer Gettinger (John), Brandon Merrell (Sally), and Nathan Merrell (Cindy), as well as her great-grandchildren Madelyn and Lilian (Nathan), Henry and George (Brandon), and Caroline and Noah (Jennifer).
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Monday, November 14, 2022 at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home 7410 Westport Rd. Louisville, KY 40222 where Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
