Avis was a member of Longfield First United Baptist Church where God saved her soul. She was also a retired form Brown Williamson where she was a cook.
Left to cherish her memory is a son Jessie Bright(Betty), daughters, Martha Pierce(Donald), Judy McLean(Dan), Sharon Bright, Shirley Bright, six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Friday, December 1, 2017 at 11am in the chapel of Arch L. Heady and Son Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Hwy. Louisville, KY 40219 with Interment to follow at Lone Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-8pm and Friday after 9am until time of the service at the funeral home.
