Mrs. Cates was a member of Evangel World Prayer Center and a retired employee for Dean Foods.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul Napper and Alta Turner Napper and brothers, Kelvin and Ronnie Napper.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 37 years, Steve Cates; children, Michael Schultz (Jennifer),Jeremy Schultz (Jody), Heather Sieboldt (Mike) and Stephanie Cates; siblings, Glenda Brown (Bob), Shirley Ash and Stan Napper (DeeDee); grandchildren, Trey, Shelbie, Emily, Olivia, Lilly, Kayleigh; great-grandchild, Brinlee and sisters-in-law, Nancy Giertych (Tim) and Evie Talley (Mike).
Funeral Services will be held Friday, 2:00 pm, at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Highway. Visitation will be held Thursday from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Funeral Home.
