She was preceded in death by her parents; Raymond & Coretta Grass; husband, James Harp, Sr.; her children, Debbie and Ricky; grandchildren, Shawana and Jeremy and siblings, Betty, Jimie, Rosie and Diane.
She is survived by her three children, Theresa, James Jr., and Danny (Jennifer); 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond and Robert Grass.
She loved cooking, baking her cookies, gardening, spending time with her friends at the pool, and was a devout Catholic.
Special thanks to her granddaughter Diana, who was her primary caregiver.
A mass to celebrate her life will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at St. Brigid Catholic Church, 1520 Hepburn Ave. Burial will follow at Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 PM on Wednesday at Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Ave.
