Barbara J. “Bobbie” Lucien, 80, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2013. She retired after 40 years from General Electric Benefits departments. She was a member of St. Gabriel parish. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Dorothy Lucien; a brother, H. Lee Lucien and a son, Michael E. Gillespie.
She is survived by her sister, Dorothy, M. Freadreacea; a sister-in-law, Janet Lucien Benvie; granddaughter, Whitney Dawn Gillespie; two great-granddaughters and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Monday at 10:00 am at St. Gabriel Catholic Church with entombment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-8 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road.
In lieu of flowers please made donations in her name to the Home of the Innocents or the charity of your choice.
