

Lavenia Beatrice Denham Thrasher, the last living child of Charles Homer and Nellie Beatrice Denham left this world on the 24th day of March 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Austin Junior Thrasher, of Hartwell, Georgia, and eight siblings, James Denham, Kenneth Denham, Corene Smith, Edna Dunn, Mary Knight, Charles Homer Denham, Jr., Jimmie Denham and Norman Denham and son-in-law Dennis Pearl.
She is survived by daughters, Deborah (Dana) James, Cheryl (Dennis) Pearl, Carol (Larry) Jutz and Peggy (Jeff), Bostelman, grandchildren, Troy (April) Thrasher, Shawn (Nahomie Polynice) Doughty, Lorie Doughty and Brian (Tiffiany) Lambert, and great grandchildren, Gavin Lambert, Van and Landon Thrasher, Nicholas and Noah Stepp, Lolah Polynice and numerous nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved.
Bea was born on May 9, 1931, in Milburn, Oklahoma and grew up in Louisville, Kentucky where she graduated from Louisville Baptist High School. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, and mother. She was a member of Carlisle Avenue and Ninth & O Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
A visitation for Beatrice will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven (4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218). A funeral service will occur Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 11:00 AM.
A committal service will occur Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 12:00 PM at Evergreen Cemetery (4623 Preston Highway, Louisville, Kentucky 40213).
