He is preceded in death by his parents and five siblings..
B.J. is survived by his loving wife of fifty-four years, Carolyn Thomas, their children, Dale Thomas, Darrell Thomas (Kathy) and Duane Thomas. He is also survived by seven siblings and six grandchildren.
A mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 11am on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 7500 Tangelo Dr. Louisville KY 40228 with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Guests are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, May 8, 2017 from 3-8pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd.
