Bessie was born on September 24, 1918 in Campbellsville, Kentucky.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William E. Barnes; 4 brothers; and 3 sisters.
Bessie is survived by her daugthers, Frances Coy (Terry) and Carolyn Herndon; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Bessie at 10am on Friday, July 25, 2014 at Evergreen Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association or Hosparus.
