Betty Rose Brockman

Betty Rose Brockman, 88, of Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Friday, September 8, 2023. She was born and raised in Casey County, Kentucky on November 7, 1934 to Chester and Grace Means. She was a member of Parkwood Baptist Church and she was a former employee of Bacons in Shively. She enjoyed shopping, long hot days in the summer sun, and talking with close friends. She was a beloved wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Nathan Brockman; son, Terry Brockman; brother, James Means; and sister, Mildred Phillips. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Allen James Brockman, Michael Craig Brockman(Angela), and Timothy Harold Brockman(Tracie); daughter, Mitzi Rose Kasitz(Andy); sister, Brenda Mullins; grandsons, Allen Jr., Andrew, Nicolas, and Nathan; granddaughters, Suzanne, Kasie, Katie, Karlie, and Bailey; and four great-grandchildren.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Norton Hospital Palliative Care Unit and the compassionate staff. Memorial donations in Betty’s memory can be made to Parkwood Baptist Church at 7900 Manslick Rd. Louisville, KY 40214.

At Betty’s request and her final wishes, there will be no memorial service. Just remember me. See you on the other side.
