She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, a member of St. Luke Catholic Church where she worked tirelessly for the St. Vincent de Paul Society. She was also a member of the Wilderness Road Club and the Red Hat Society.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years; Harold “Bud” Hinton.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, children David A. Hinton (Patricia), Diane M. Hess (Raymond), and Mary Frances Cantrell; sisters Martha Simpson and Shirley Fessel, grandchildren Elizabeth A. Hinton and Jacob H. Cantrell.
Her funeral mass will be 10:00 AM Monday at St. Luke Catholic Church, 4211 Jim Hawkins Drive. Burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation Sunday 2-8 PM at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Okolona.
Memorial contributions can be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society.
