She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, who were immigrants from Austria, John S. and Marie Hohmann Hornek Sr.; her husband of 36 years Robert B. Hawes.
Survivors include her siblings Mary Louise Hornek Scannell, John S. Hornek Jr., Martin G. Hornek, Robert W. Hornek, and Norbert J. Hornek; several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral mass will be at 12:00 P.M. Monday at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Burial Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. until service time at the church.
