Betty Joyce Leffler, 77, of Louisville, passed away Friday, June 18, 2010. She was the former Betty McGuire (Parrott) (Kelley), a native of Ardmore, Alabama and a member of the Red Hat Society and a former member of Eastern Parkway Baptist Church.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Wesley McGuire and Myrtle Delap McGuire; sister, Annie Lee McGuire Doerr and her brother, Horton McGuire.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Kenneth Leffler; her children, William R. Parrott (Pam), Brenda J. Morgan (Wayne), David W. Parrott (Kelli), Terri L. Kelley (Steve), Patrick G. Kelley (Jill), Tina M. Parker (Allison), Carol Foster (Paul), Sharol LeCates (Don), Barbara Myers (Lawrence), Marcia Kapfhammer (Glen); sister, Lorene McGuire Craven ; brother, Cecil McGuire; twenty two grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Visitation at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
