She was born on March 11, 1930 in Lawrence County, KY to the late William Homer Ball & Monnie G. Pigg. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Everett Elwood Moore; and her brother, Gene Ball.
Betty is survived by her children, Roger Moore (Diana), David Moore (Mary), Kathy Tatum (Cliff) and Brian Moore (Kitty); grandchildren, John Moore, Scott Tatum (Rachel), Daniel Moore (Hannah), Chris Tatum (Tamara), Hannah Moore, Greg Moore, Josh Tatum (Hannah), Patrick Moore; seven great-grandchildren; her sister, Cora Sturgill; and many loving extended family members & dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 19, 2021 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven (4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218).
A private service for the family will be held at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Betty will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memorial Park.
