Betty Jean Pryor

She was a loving mother, known by many as "Nanny" for her loving way in taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Murray Donald Pryor; great-grandson, Darrell Wesley Ashley; and many other loved ones.

She is survived by her children, Donna Drake, Brenda Roehrig (John), Diane Yates and Darrell Pryor; grandchildren, Jeanna Ashley (Adam), Carol Butler, Cheryl Butler, David Yates, Emily Roehrig, Dwayne Yates, and Benjamin Roehrig; and great-grandchildren, Alissa and Joshua Ashley; sister, Doris Roberts (Harold); and many nieces and nephews.

The Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday at noon at Arch L. Heady and Son Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Blvd., with burial to follow in Bethany Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. and Thursday after 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
