Love and Prayers are being sent your way to comfort and strengthen you in the days ahead.  Betty was a terrific grandmother to my grandson Derrick Reed.  Very few boys have the distinction of having two Grandma Bettys. Betty always teased and said she was the one that could cook. I just let her think that!  I admired Betty and Merle for being so kind to Derricks brother Micah  even though he was not their Grandchild. She always included Micah at Christmas and the holidays. That shows a big heart. Again, Thanks Betty, you left your mark on your family and those around you in many ways. Rest in Heavenly peace.

Betty will always be an amazing woman in my eyes. She will take control of all the UK fans in heaven and look out for all of her family. I had the honor of being Betty's Supervisor for a number of years at JCPS. I have never met two sisters as close as her and Darlene. I'm sure she will continue to look over Darlene's shoulder to keep her in line. Love, Kisses & Prayers to all of her family.

I met Mrs. Reed through my career in the banking industry. She was such a lovely lady, and I truly enjoyed meeting & talking with her.  Shared many stories of her school bus driving days.  She will be missed.

So sorry for the loss of a very dear friend.  Betty, you were a very loving, caring and giving person. We know how you enjoyed playing cards (except when losing--LOL) but always knew your Mom wouldn't like that you were gambling.  You will be missed Betty,  but we know you are now not suffering and are in a much better place!  Rest in peace and say "hello" to our many friends with whom you are now celebrating the glory of the Lord!
