Charlene was a single mother and worked at G.E. where she met her future husband, David. They started dating in 1984 and were married in 1987. Charlene enjoyed travelling, was an avid reader and enjoyed solving crossword puzzles. She was an excellent cook who enjoyed sharing time with her children and grandchildren. Charlene was a wonderful wife, grandmother and friend.
She is preceded in death by her step- son, Alan Nettleship.
Charlene is survived by her husband of 38 years, David William Nettleship, children, Greg Timothy Gray (Mary), Karen Marie Dunn and Lance Nettleship, grandchildren, Nolan, Erin, Megan, Tanner and Stephanie, great-grandchildren, Stella, Ryker and Jackson.
Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 10-1 pm on Tuesday August 19, 2025 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40218 with a funeral to take place at 1pm in the funeral chapel. Interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
