Bill was a native of Monroe Co., KY. He served in the US Army and was a WWII vet. Bill was an active member of Watterson Trail Church of Christ and a longtime member, and, past president of Jeffersontown Rotary Club.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret (Betty) Egan Graves and his second wife, Roberta B. Tully Graves, daughter Nancy Toller, and three brothers.
Bill is survived by his wife, Viola Reynolds Graves; his children, Joseph E. Lowry (Shirley), Bonnie Suter (Mike), Janet Barker and Diane Rose, six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be conducted Monday, October 26, 2015 at 12:00 pm in Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, with private entombment at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Sunday, October 25, 2015 from 5-8 pm and Monday, October 26, 2015 from 9 am until time of service.
