Billie Jean was known to love all things gardening, she was a self-taught master gardener, had hundreds of plants in her home and garden. She loved to paint, and made the best home cooked meals.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 60+ years, Donald Anthony Miranda; and siblings, Madge Caster, and James Gates.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jennifer Elkins (Richard), Tony Miranda, Donna Amos, Bonnie Riley, James Miranda; grandchildren, Michael, David, Jeremy, Jessica, Tina, Angela, Jimmy Jr., Hank, Tracey, Keli, Tommy Sean, Leah, Tiffany, Kasey; 28 great-grandchildren; 5 great great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family who will miss her dearly.
There will be a memorial gathering on Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 10am – 1pm at Arch L. Heady and Son Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Highway, Louisville, KY 40219. Memorial Service will be at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made out to the family at this time.
