Arbuckle, Billy B., 92 of Shively passed from this life on Saturday January 5, 2013 at Georgetown Manor. He was a retired driver for the old Smith’s Transfer Co., a member of the masonic lodge, a Kosair Shriner, a longtime member of the Ralph Avenue Baptist Church, and an Air Force veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther; a daughter, Billie French; and a son, Leslie Arbuckle. He is survived by a daughter, Barbara Ann Arbuckle; 5 grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren. A service to celebrate Mr. Arbuckle’s life will be held at 12 pm Thursday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Interment with military honors will be in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Wednesday.
