Billy was born in Louisville to Bud and Elva Lambert. He was an avid UK basketball and Yankees fan. Billy always had a smile, loved everybody, and attended Alternative Adult Day Health Care Center.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents, sister Diane, brother Kenneth, and nephew Jesse. He is survived by his sister Sandra, brother Troy, nephew John, grand-niece Jazmyn and grand-nephew John Paul Van Fleet.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2026, from 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven. Visitation will resume on Monday morning from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM at the funeral home, with a service in Billy’s honor beginning at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made in his name to the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center.
