

Billy was born in Louisville to Bud and Elva Lambert. He never let his disability stand in his way and lived a full life. He was a hard worker and worked his whole life.
Billy always had a smile and said hi to everyone.
In his retirement, he attended Alternative Adult Day Health Care Center, where he had many new adventures and was cared for by their wonderful staff.
He was a huge sports fan, an avid fan of UK basketball and the Boston Celtics, and obsessed with the NY Yankees.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents, sister Diane. brother, Kenneth, and nephew, Jesse. He is survived by his sister Sandra, brother Troy, nephew John, grand-niece Jazmyn; and will be especially missed by his grand-nephew, John Paul – whom he adored.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2026, from 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven. Visitation will resume on Monday morning from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM at the funeral home, with a service in Billy’s honor beginning at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made in his name to the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center.
