He is preceded in death by his wife of 46 years: Lynn Nelson.
Billy is survived by his children: Scott Nelson (Tracey) and Tiffany Hawkins (Richard), siblings: Brenda Nelson, James Nelson(Angie) and Mary Jean Geary (Jeff), grandchildren: Chelsea, Matthew, Hunter and Travis, great grandson: Parker.
A celebration of Billy’s life will be conducted at 12pm on Saturday, December 6, 2014 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 2-8pm Friday, December 5, 2014.
