

Born to the late William M. Connor and Josie Rouse, Bobbie is also preceded in passing by his loving wife of 64 years, Audrey Juanita “Nita” Connor; siblings, Samuel, Joyce Sue, and Patricia.
Left to carry on his memory are his children, Audrey Teresa Parker (Carl), Bobbie Joe “Jodie” Clark (Eric), William M. Connor (Maggie), and Benjamin “Chuck” Connor (Holly); grandchildren, Michael Jay, Jr., Lillian Frances, Joseph Allen, Sarah M., Daphne M., Malena R., and Erica M.; many great-grandchildren.
Bobbie was supremely proud of his time in the military, serving the country for 24 selfless years. He was a gifted mechanic and a good cook who enjoyed outdoor activities such as fishing. He was a collector of many things, including firearms, knives, coins, and stamps. After retiring from the military Bobbie went on to be a print specialist for the Corp of Engineers.
A visitation will be held Thursday, January 12, 2023, from 4 to 6 PM at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Road. A service to celebrate Bobbie’s Life will take place following the visitation at 6 PM on Thursday. He will be placed in his final resting place next to his wife in Resthaven Memorial Park at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made in Bobbie’s memory to the American Diabetes Association.
