

Bobby Taylor Carlton, 68, of Louisville passed away peacefully at home on June 27th with his wife, Keven, by his side. He was originally from Lynchburg, TN where he worked for Jack Daniels Distillery, relocating to Louisville with Brown Forman Corporation. Bobby was currently a computer operations technician with Dell Services at Jewish Hospital.
He was an avid fisherman, loved to garden and cook, and was a Methodist by faith. He was also a very dedicated Alabama football fan.
Bobby was a very much-loved husband, father brother, son-in-law, uncle and friend. He touched many lives in many ways and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his father, John Taylor Carlton and his mother, Hiawatha Throneberry Parker and a sister Diana Lee Morris.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife and best friend of 24 years, Keven Marie Haysley Carlton; daughter, Cindy Marie Bedford (John) of Lynchburg, TN; a special nephew, Jeff Damron of Tullahoma, TN; sisters, Betty Lou McCormick (Mac) and Susie M. Damron also of Tullahoma; a brother, Ronnie Dale Parker (Stacey) of Scottsboro, AL; mother-in-law, Patricia Haysley; sisters-in-law, Theresa Sutton (David), Missy Scharff (Tom) and Amy Parker; brother-in-law, Joe Haysley (Paula) and several nieces and nephews who cared deeply for him.
His family would like to thank Dr. Vijay Raghaven and his staff for their compassionate care, the nurses and staff of 3A at St’s. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital as well as his Hosparus team. Your kindness was heartfelt.
His funeral will be held at 12:00 Noon Saturday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to time of service on Saturday.
