Bobby McGeorge, 80, passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 in Louisville. He was born to on November 9, 1938 in Bell County, KY to the late Gillis and Mossie McGeorge. Bobby served our country while enlisted in the U.S. Army and retired from Pillsbury. He was a family man that enjoyed, hunting, fishing, and traveling in his motorhome.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Deanna Lee Parker and siblings, Janice McGeorge, Bud McGeorge and Opal Duncan. Here to carry on his memory are his wife of 50+ years, Sharon McGeorge; grandson, Walter William Burgin III (Chris); great grandchildren, Mercedes, Victoria, Walter IV, Mińa, Arabella and Haley; along with his great great grandchild, EveLynn.
A visitation will take place from 12-2pm on Friday, December 21st at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. The funeral service honoring Bobby will immediately follow the visitation, with the entombment taking place in Resthaven Memorial Park.
