Bonnie Blunk Smith, 66, of Louisville passed away Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Norton Healthcare Pavilion Hosparus Unit. She was born on October 24, 1945. She was a 1964 graduate of Durrett High School and was retired from Presbyterian Church USA. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Ray Blunk and Virginia Adams and a sister, Betty Dixon.
She is survived by her loving husband, Doug; step-son, Chuck (Jennifer) Smith; step-daughter,, Denise (Edward) Motta; step grandsons, Matthew and Alex Smith; sisters, Barbara (Bobby) Sublett, Joyce (Bubber) Hazel and Janet (Rod) Valentine; brother-in-law, Don Dixon; nieces, Denise Deely, Lisa Coates; nephew, Donnie Dixon and many more nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be conducted Thursday January 19, 2012 at noon at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with private burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2-8 on Wednesday at the funeral home.
