I met Brad when he and his friend, Rob Marshall, took pity on me at a riding area outside London, KY. I was new to the sport, and attempting to ride, alone, after somehow getting my bike there via my subaru. I think they both knew from that presentation that I was very likely to hurt myself and perhaps never be heard from again. So they invited me to ride with them, an invitation I readily accepted with an enormous sense of relief. As it turned out, Brad just happened to live mere blocks from me in Lexington. What resulted from that act of kindness was a friendship long lasting, with many more rides thereafter. And lots of laughter, lots of Brad's dry humor. Those guys taught me everything I know about riding, literally. I ALWAYS looked forward to the next ride with Brad. Ultimately, I moved away to Utah for the primary purposes of riding more, and skiing more, both of which I very much enjoyed doing with Brad. But what I know upon reflection is, that if Brad and Rob had not shown me the kindness they did that day, I very likely would have given up completely. And I wouldn't then be here, living my dream in the mountains with riding consuming ALL of my free time; so, yeah...I owe a lot to Brad. I know he will be missed by everyone who knew him. May God bless Cyndi and your boys, and give them the peace and relief you once gave me with your subtle assurance that I would, indeed, survive that first ride. I hope to see you again my friend, and hope you will show me the ropes, and the trails, once more someday. I know you know that I am looking forward to that ride...

Brad was someone i new during my senior year and there after. He was a good man as his twin Bruce. My memories where meeting up at the house on the corner of 42 and Rudy Lane then Holiday Manor to find out where the weekend parties where.
May Brad Rest In Peace. 🙏🙏🙏

Dear Cindy and boys,
Please accept our sincere condolences. I have so many fond memories of Brad and all the laughs we have had together. When I think of him all I can see is that big smile and glimmer in his eye!! If it had not been for Brad I probably wouldn't have gotten through Mortuary College!! What a blessing he was to everyone that knew him. Now we have to cherish all of our GOOD MEMORIES!! Praying for God to be with you and family during this difficult journey.
Love,
John and Billie Jo Hughes
