Brenda Joyce Clemens, 55, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015. She was born June 11, 1959 in Louisville to Annetta Winfield Thompson and the late Charles A. Thompson. Brenda enjoyed spending weekends on Nolin Lake and was devoted to her family.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Tom Clemens, a son, Matthew Clemens (Tara), a grandson, Lucas Wayne Clemens, her mother, Annie Thompson, a sister, Debbie Saylor (Steve), two nephews; Jason Saylor (Shannon) and Adam Saylor (Amanda) and several great nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Brenda’s life will be conducted Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 10:00 am in Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road with a private interment in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
