Brenda found joy in life’s simple pleasures, including watching television, reading, shopping with her sister, and fishing alongside her beloved husband. Above all, she treasured her family. She devoted herself to caring for her boys and took great pride in her role as a mother and grandmother. Her love for her grandchildren was deep and unwavering, and she cherished every opportunity to spend time with those she loved. Brenda’s life was marked by her devotion to her family, and the memories she created with them will forever remain in their hearts.
She was preceded in death by her brother, David Glidewell.
Those left to cherish Brenda’s memory and carry on her legacy of love include her devoted husband of 60 years, John R. Morris; her sons, Robert Allen Morris and Gregory Ray Morris (Amy); her beloved grandchildren, Zackery Morris and Hannah Morris; her sister, Linda Rush; and her sister-in-law, Roxie Glidewell. Her memory will also live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Brenda and to celebrate the life she lived and the love she shared. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, located at 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218. A funeral service honoring Brenda’s life will take place at 2:00 p.m., followed by burial at 3:00 p.m.
