I could talk about Brenda forever! She was a hoot to be around and never a dull moment. I first started working with her at Valley View when I was 19 years old. She gave me the nick name Princess. And I will say once I was given the nick name I very seldom heard my actual name from her. Every morning I would hear “Good morning princess” and I’d say good morning Mrs. Brenda. In the evenings when we both would leave she would always tell me have a good night princess. I am sure Valley View is quite different without her around. And she will be missed by co-workers past and present, parents and kids! Brenda would make you laugh, Shake your head and go Brenda! And I always loved her sass and hand flip. It was always her signature! You will be missed Brenda! You are always in my heart and I’ll never forget you 💜

Dear sweet Brenda.. it was such a joy working with you. I could always count on you for a joke and an honest opinion. I truly believe that you were a blessing to everyone lucky enough to know you . You lit up every room you entered, and took great care of all of us at VV. Thank you for memory after memory of summers by the pool where your hair never got wet. You’ll always have a place in my heart. I love you, Honey .
We’ll play sequence as soon as I see you again. ❤️ Stevie Proctor Phelps

Brenda where do I start with memories? I worked with Brenda for 18 years we got along great Except! We got on each other's nerves with the vent switch and fan in the kitchen. I would flip the switch on because I would be burning up and she would say HONEY I'm freezing you want to see? Then shove her could hands under my shirt and flip it off. Then the fan would mess her hair up! And those who knew Brenda knows her hair was going no where! Then thier was the time we went to Sam's and they were giving out coffee samples and she took a sip then gave this God awful face and put the cup right back on the guy's tray! The guy gave her a funny face but she had already walked off. I think the funniest time was when we went to bingo and I locked my keys in the car with it still running she had no clue it was running! I called my brother to bring the other key the whole time she was trying to get me to go on in saying it would be ok sitting there. God love Brenda no matter where you took her even if it was just down the street she wanted to give you five dollars. I would always tell her no keep it! She would say ok honey I'll just do something for you later...then after you would pull off you would find the money in the seat. BRENDA WAS ONE OF THE BEST AND NO ONE WILL EVER REPLACE HER!! Love and miss you chris

Brenda will be missed dearly at Valley View CDC. I worked with Brenda for almost 23 years!
We have shared so many memories, dreams, aspirations and hopes. We played Bunco together for many years. I gave her many a ride home after Bunco.
Brenda was also one of my best AVON customers. She loved her Creme bubble bath, Rare Gold and Imari colognes.
I loved her humor and wit, and she always had something to add to our conversations.
I will truly miss her so very much!

Brenda entered my life at just 4 years old when I attended Valley View. When I became of age I became an employee there and a co-worker / friend of Brenda for an off and on basis of over 6 years. Brenda was always there to make you smile even when you were ready to cry, she always looked out for every child, family person she came in contact with. I feel that Brenda left a mark on every soul she met! From drinking her morning cup of coffee - from circle K of course, she was always ready to start the day! The loss of Mrs. Brenda is one very dear to many man hearts in our valley view CDC family. You will be missed greatly and remembered happily for many many life times!
Love you dearly Mrs. Brenda,

I worked with Brenda for the past 7 years. And I very quickly came to love her! She was always looking out for me in some way or another and she was always making me laugh. She had a personality like no other and I feel the loss of her presence very much. 💔 She meant a lot to me and she will be missed for a long, long time to come, and by many!

I loved Ms. Brenda. She was a wonderful human being. The babies just adored her. She will be sorely missed by me. I smelled the magnolias the other day. Reminded me of her.
