She is now reunited in heaven with her parents, Fred and Hazel Hurd; and her granddaughter, Brittany Worthington.
Left to cherish Brenda’s memory is her loving husband of 48 years, Charles Strothman; daughter, Tina Worthington; sisters, Regina Martin and Becky Ewan; brother, Tony Hurd (Patty); granddaughter, Taylor Schum; great grandson, Dalton Brown and his pal Wolfie; several nieces and nephews; and her dog, Tootsie Roll.
Brenda was a Shrine Lady and enjoyed going on cruises with her husband and the Shriners. She enjoyed the various dinners and other activities at Kosair and especially traveling with Charlie. Oh, how she enjoyed playing the restaurant game with Dalton and Wolfie, and watching him play soccer and basketball! One of her guilty pleasures was her quiet naps with Dalton and Tootsie in her lap.
The Funeral Service will be Thursday, March 4, 2021 at 2:00pm at Evergreen Funeral Home with visitation from 12:00pm until the time of service at the funeral home. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
