Preceded in death by his father Artie Smith and grandparents Erwin and Selma Schoeny and Lucille Smith, Brett is survived by his mother Carol Smith; his children Amber, Nicole, April, Angela, and Alexis; numerous grandchildren and a great-grandbaby; his siblings Curtis Smith and April Hooper; and his best friend Jimmy Hood.
A visitation for Brett will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Arch L. Heady and Son Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 7410 Westport Road, Louisville, KY 40222. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
