Brian W. Raymer

Brian Wayne Raymer, 74, passed away January 4, 2025, after a long battle with cancer. He was born on August 6,1950 to the late Leslie and Lenora Raymer. Brian retired from Ushers Trucking, where he worked as a truck driver for many years. He loved fishing, shooting, and building birdhouses. Brian was an avid University of Kentucky Athletics fan.

In addition to his parents, Brian is preceded in death by his wife; Carlis “Corky” Raymer, and uncle; Jack Barlow.

Brian is survived by his children; Jennifer Watson (Carl) and Tracy Matthews (John), grandchildren; Carl Lee Joseph Watson, Nicholas Wayne Watson, Brent Allen Matthews, Shawn-Micheal Matthews, Codey Andrew Watson, seven great grandchildren, sister; Wanda Hopper, aunt; Cora Barlow, cousin; Patricia Ridgeway, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 10, 2025, at Evergreen Funeral Home from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Visitation will resume Saturday, January 11, 2025, from 9:00am-12:00pm. A funeral for Brian will follow directly at 12:00pm, at Evergreen Funeral Home. Brian will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
