He was a member of Southeast Christian Church and a long time volunteer for the Crusade for Children. He is survived by his wife, Naomi Durbin; a son, Thomas A. Durbin; a daughter, Carole Bowman; grandchildren, Christy, James, and Josh; and a great-granddaughter, Adalynn. Funeral service will be at noon Saturday at the Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Friday. Memorial gifts may be made to the Crusade for Children.
