Preceding Cara in death is her father Shawn Sanders; brother Andrew Sanders; and grandparents Theodore and Pauline Sanders.
Cara is survived by her husband Corey Gainey; her daughter Blake Gainey; mother Deborah Sanders; brother Matthew Sanders (Abby), aunt Lori Parson; uncles Greg Parson(Jill), Johnny Parson(Terry), Ronald Parson(Sandy); and many cousins.
A visitation will be held at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home 4400 Bardstown Road Louisville, Kentucky 40218 on Wednesday July 19, 2023 from 12PM-2PM. A funeral service will follow at 2PM in the funeral home chapel. Cara will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memorial Park.
