Carl William Collins,56, a native of Colorado Springs, CO, transitioned on Friday, March 13, 2015, at his home with his loving wife, Ava M. Collins, of 16 years by his side. He was a former employee of Fed-Ex, Budweiser and Miller Brewing Company. Carl is survived by his wife, Ava, mother in law, Barbara J. Hedrick "BJ" of High Pt., NC.
He was predeceased by his mother and step-father, Barbara B. and Samuel Lee, and father, Carl W. Collins.
The family would like to thank Hosparus for their kind and compassionate care and the medical staff of Audubon Hospital, Dr. John Lach, Dr. Pradeep Singh, and friends for the acts of kindness during this heavenly transition. Also a sincere thanks to our dear close friend, Helena Russell.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 12:00 pm in Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with interment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11 am until the time of service at noon.
