He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 64 years: Rose Marie Fischer; his oldest son, Carl Fischer, Jr.,(Vicki), his daughter-in-law: Vickie Sue Fischer.
Left to cherish Carl’s memory are his sons: Stewart Fischer (Roxana), and Joseph R. Fischer (Tonya); his grandchildren: Jessica Rae (Tim), Ashley Rose (Justin), Joel Thomas Fischer, Alexis Kellen Fischer, Sydney Nicole Fischer; his great-grandchildren: Marissa & Jaeger.
Visitation will be from 12:00 - 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Arch L Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218. Carl will be laid to rest privately at Resthaven Memorial Park on Monday, August 17, 2026.
