Mr. Hass was a retired employee of the U.S. Postal Service and an Air Force Korean War veteran.
Survivors include his loving wife of 30 years, Helen Carroll Hass; children, Mark Hass (Terri) and Beverly Brumback (Mike); step-children, Larry, Bill, Chet and Mike Vertrees and Sharon Gregory; sister, Helen Gootee; 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held noon Tuesday at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Monday, 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family would like to express there sincere gratitude for the loving and compassionate care that Carl received while at Baptist Hospital East and also to Angela and Bernard with Ky Elder Law for their help and assistance over the past several months.
