Carla L. Pickard-Johnson, 52, of Louisville, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at home peacefully with her family. She was a great wife, mother, sister, and great aunt. She had a heart of gold and was mother to a lot.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Wilma G. Pickard, and step-father, Larry W. Shartzer.
She is survived by her husband Isaac W. Johnson; a daughter, Amber N. Pickard (Dominque); sisters Colleen Y. Pickard, Lisa Pickard-Blair (Joe), and Toya Washington-Pickard; 9 grandchildren; 3 nieces; 7 nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews; extended family (D. Milan, N. Reigle); aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Last but not least, her 4 babies.
She will be greatly missed by everyone whose life she touched.
A memorial visitation will be held Thursday from 2-4 pm, followed by a memorial service at 4:00, at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Blvd.
In her memory, contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation, American Heart Association, or ASPCA.
