Carol Marie Shiley, 70, of Louisville passed on Tuesday. She was a Homemaker, member of Middletown United Methodist Church, and a former Sunday School teacher for youth. Carol was once involve in League Bowling.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Harper Shiley; 6 children, Donna M. Kinzer (Gary) of Pekin, IN, Sheri L. Judd of Culpeper, VA, Michele R. Shiley, Eva M. Shiley, Jeffrey A. Shiley and Bradley E. Shiley; five grandchildren, Tim Shiley (Jessica), Nathan Judd, Wendy Judd, Remington Judd and Kennedy Shiley; two great-grandchildren, Clyde and Charlie Shiley; four siblings, James L. Welker (Sandra), Betty M. Kreiser, Helen A. Hoover and Marge Hoover.
A memorial visitation to honor the life of Carol will be held from 4-8pm on Friday, April 29, 2011 in the parlor of Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home at Westport Road. In lieu of customary expressions of sympathy the family has requested contributions to the American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.
