

Born Christmas Day of 1945 in Louisville, Kentucky to parents, Elmer Dickie & Rosella Ethridge. Carol was a Nurse, retiring after 45 years of dedicated service from Wesley Manor Nursing Home. She was a self-taught artist, teaching herself how to draw & loved the outdoors. Often found on Nolin Lake or Lake Cumberland, she loved to boat, fish and catch striped bass. She also liked to work crossword puzzles, play BINGO & was a conservative gambler. Carol cared for & helped her children, grandchildren & great – grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Elmer & Rosella Dickie; her sons, Tony Cresenzo & Angelo Cresenzo; sister, Helen Bryant; & grandchildren, Ashley Williams & Russell Williams, precede Carol in her passing.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Charles “Bud” Williams; son, David Williams; step – daughter, Sherrie Williams; grandchildren, Anthony Williams & Ryan Williams; great – grandchildren, Kaylee, Braxton, Dylan, Halley, Emily, Jayden & Raylen; brother & sisters, Kathy French, Margaret Howell, Sara Lush & Lou Dickie; many nieces & nephews; plus, a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. in the Dignity Chapel of the Evergreen Funeral Home. Carol will be laid to rest in the Maple Garden of Evergreen Cemetery & Garden Mausoleums, where she will rest for eternity. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. also at the Evergreen Funeral Home.
