Brewer, Carolyn Jean, 71, of Fairdale passed from this life on Monday October 24, 2011 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. She was the former Carolyn Oliver, and a former waitress at the Frisch’s on 3rd St. for 25 years. She was preceded in death by a son, Floyd “Tony” Kelley. She is survived by a son, William “Buck” Rucker, Jr.; daughters, Carolyn “Faye” Kelley, Annette McNally and Anita Elkins Kelley; her mother, Ruby Robinson; brother, Bobby Oliver; sister, Betty Lencioni; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A service to celebrate Carolyn’s life will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
